Security Codes

CROSS uses security codes to designate the nature and severity of a threat. These codes take the form of a two or three word phrase: SEVERITYNATUREADDITIONAL.

Severity

  1. Lead – Global, extinction-level threat
  2. Diamond – International crisis
  3. Gold – International disturbance
  4. Ruby – National crisis
  5. Pearl – National disturbance
  6. Silver – Crisis at high priority locale
  7. China – Disturbance at high priority locale
  8. Crystal – Local crisis
  9. Tin – Local disturbance
  10. Wood – Matter for investigation
  11. Cotton – Matter for note only

Nature

  • Trojan – Internal security breach at CROSS facility
  • Jericho – External security breach at CROSS facility
  • Tower – Destruction of civilian buildings and infrastructure
  • Javelin – Destruction of government, military or intelligence buildings or infrastructure
  • Assagi – Insurgency
  • Pilum – Invasion
  • Knife – Assassination
  • Maya – Natural disaster
  • Shield – CLASSIFIED
  • Sword – CLASSIFIED
  • Kaiju – CLASSIFIED
